Our Golden Teacher Spore syringe microscopy kit includes 10ml of authentic Golden Teacher spores in a syringe, individually packaged, with a sterile needle included. Sales will be declined to Idaho, Georgia, and California.
Spores are intended ONLY for microscopy and taxonomy purposes. The images shown are informational only and originate from other cultivators and labs outside the USA. Cultivation is illegal in many countries including the United States. The purpose of this site is not to grow psilocybin mushrooms or Golden Teacher Mushrooms.
This well-known strain of Psilocybe cubensis is a long-time favorite of mycologists, researchers, and amateur microscopists alike. Second in popularity to perhaps only the B+ spore strain, Golden Teacher mushroom spores are most often what comes to mind when people refer to “magic mushrooms.” Whether you’re just beginning your amateur microscopy studies or you’re a seasoned veteran of the hobby, our robust, high-quality spores are sure to delight.
At Quality Spores, we know exactly how important it is for proper research that your spores be clean, contaminant-free, and viable. Our Golden Teacher spore syringes are always of the highest quality.
Golden Teacher in the Wild: A Hardy Psilocybin Mushroom Strain With Beautiful Features
Golden Teacher gets its name from its beautiful, golden cap. In the wild, this fungi tends to have a wide cap and a thick, winding stem with pale white coloration. The Golden Teacher mushrooms caps are usually somewhere in the range of 20 to 80 millimeters in diameter, cone-shaped while young and flattening with maturity.
The gills of a Golden Teacher differentiate themselves from other species by their spacing; they’re quite close together and have a dark coloration—even near-black at maturity. Like most Psilocybe cubensis, Golden Teachers have a distinct blue coloration when bruised.
Golden Teachers are thought to have originated in Cuba, but now grow wild in the southeastern United States, Central and South America, and even parts of Southeast Asia.
How Difficult Are Golden Teacher Spores to Study for Amateur Microscopists or Taxonomists?
Most amateur microscopists consider the Golden Teacher spore strain to be appropriate for beginners to study. Since the Golden Teacher syringe spores are quite resistant to contamination, this robust strain is appropriate for novices to study.
