FAQ

What is the best way to store a mushroom spore syringe and how long will it last?

A: The best place for storage is in a refrigerator and will last for 6 months or more.

What is the black clump in the syringe?

A: Those are the spores themselves. Healthy spores coagulate together into a black mass over time. Most of the time they can be shaken apart (always shake the syringe prior to doing research), but if they will not break apart then they can be pressed out through the needle slowly. Also, there are millions of spores within the clear liquid of the syringe not visible to the naked eye. We only use 1cc of clear liquid when performing our tests of each cubensis strain prior to putting it into inventory.

Can I ask Quality Spores growing questions?

A: No. QS will not respond to any questions about growing mushroom spores. Our spores are for microscopy research only.

How long will it take to receive my order?

A: We quote 7-10 days from the time you place your order with us. We ship via UPS ground.
